Ben + Ashley

Ben became chronically ill just weeks before our wedding in September 2015. His symptoms included: tingles/numbness in the limbs, blurred vision, nausea, weakness, dizziness, chronic fatigue, brain fog, stomach issues, headaches and weight loss. He lost 20 pounds in 2 weeks. Ben miraculously found some energy to walk down the aisle, get married and enjoy our wedding; however, that was not the end to his nightmare of symptoms.

His symptoms got worse and a few months later, he began getting panic attacks on top of everything. Doctor after doctor could not figure out what was wrong and finally diagnosed him with anxiety. We knew it wasn’t anxiety and needed to find the root cause.

Fast forward to March 2017 when a family member directed us to Anthony William's book "Medical Medium: Secrets Behind Chronic and Mystery Illness and How to Finally Heal." Through this book, we discovered all of Ben's symptoms fell under Epstein Barr Virus (EBV). From there, we immediately started drinking 16+ ounces of celery juice a day, drinking the heavy metal detox smoothie, began the 28-day food cleanse and incorporated supplements that help knock down EBV. After a few weeks, Ben started seeing improvements in his health and finally had hope that he could one day feel normal again.

Presently, Ben is 95% better. He still gets his symptoms here and there but not nearly as bad as they were prior to finding Medical Medium. There's a positive side to most things and while the days of his suffering are something we will leave in the past, we are forever grateful for the path it has steered us on. We work together to embrace this new lifestyle and want to share the knowledge we’ve learned with YOU!

In March 2020, we moved to Klamath, CA to start an off-grid Market Garden to grow all wonderful healing fruits, veggies and herbs. It was a big change in lifestyle, but completely rewarding. November 2020 we moved back to the Bay Area for the winter with the plan to go back to Klamath to in the Spring to farm again. However, December 2020 we found out Ashley was pregnant with our first child. We were so excited for the arrival of our baby and decided to stay in the Bay area for the 2021 growing season. We run a successful microgreens and urban farm operation and sell our greens at local farmers' markets, grocery stores and restaurants.
